Dr. Antonio Rodríguez Diéguez

Degree in Chemical Sciences from the University of Granada (1996-2001). I had a Collaboration Grant from the MECD (November 2000-June 2001) and later a Predoctoral Fellowship for the Training of Research Staff (FPI) of the MCYT to complete a Doctoral Thesis based on molecular magnetism (June 2002-December 2005) directed by D Enrique Colacio Rodríguez. I obtained the Cum Laude Outstanding qualification in December 2005. Afterwards, I obtained the Extraordinary Doctoral Award in Experimental Sciences for the best Doctoral Thesis of the 2005/2006 academic year. I got a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship from the Ramón Areces Foundation (October 2006-March 2008) in the group of Professor Angelo Sironi in the “Dipartimento di Chimica Inorganica and Stereochimica Inorganica, Facoltà di Science of the University of Milan”. In 2008 I obtained a Contract for the Incorporation of Doctors from the University of Granada in the Department of Inorganic Chemistry of the University and, later in 2011, I obtained the position of Associate Professor at the University of Granada (06/14/2011). I am a Member of the Academic Committee of the Official PhD Program in Chemistry of the University of Granada and Member of the Permanent Academic Committee of the Degree in Industrial Electronic Engineering. Throughout my scientific career I have participated in 31 research projects, being IP in 7 of them, funded by the European Union, Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Innovation, Science and Business of the Junta de Andalucía and Regional Entities. I have participated in 4 integrated actions being IP in 2 of them. I am Principal Investigator of 2 Projects of Excellence of the Junta de Andalucía: FQM-4228 and FQM-1484. I was Principal Investigator of the European Proposal EE6134 granted by "Diamond Light Source Ltd". In 2011 I was Principal Investigator of the Project GREIB_PT_2011_16 granted by the Campus of International Excellence. I am the author of 173 scientific publications in indexed journals of recognized international prestige and in 68 of them I act as the first author or "corresponding author". Index h = 29.
